    Armor ecm

I have started working with the armors and have created a new armor in my el data. What I can't seem to find though is the ecm for the actual armor, not the dropped model. In sELedit, row 4 defines the folder in which the .ski and texture files are located. It seems none of the armors contain an ecm in this folder.

Do armors use ecms' in the same way that weapons do, or do armors not use an ecm?

    Re: Armor ecm

Ah.... I was afraid that was the answer...

Perhaps there is an alternative to what I'm trying to do. What I've done on a weapon before was make a few texture calls inside of a gfx file to have "floating" textures related to the weapon (like on my Data Drain, see below). By doing so, whenever the weapons move, they move with it. I'm was trying to do the same with the armor, but if this can't be done, are there any other ways of attaching a texture to an armor?

    Spoiler:

Ah, thank you I think that might be what I needed. Had to fix my gfx files first though since I still had the "chrome" effect.
