Authd offline

So I installed my server, everything went smooth except that Authd service displayed in PWAdmin is offline. I thought that Authd is responsible for login process, isn't it? However it seems not to influence anything, I can create accounts and log into the game without problems. Logs seem to be fine too.

I'd say whatever pwadmin uses to detect running authd is flawed with your install.

1) control auth is running with ps -ef (look for java -cp ...... )
2) look what pwadmin uses and fix it

I don't like so much the way that pwAdmin use to start the server. Better to do an addon that run a shell script that starts the server. Or even use webmin to manage the server. I'm using pwAdmin only to manage the character database because it's nice for it. Otherwise everything could be done without pwAdmin.

I tried already ^^ It will require some time because i'm not pro in jsp :P Also I think that my PWAdmin is just fine, because it runs w/o problems on my VBOX

And not really safe if you don't change default location :P
It will be in my TODO list, but low priority :)

Thanks, I will check it out, but in my opinion my java installation is fine, because it works flawless on my VBOX :)


Anyway, it's not big issue, I just wanted to ask if there's any fast way to fix it.
