I wonder if anyone had problems with installation on Ubuntu 10.04! We know little problems found other OS, I always did in 9.10 and now want to change.

I use 10.04 with no problems ;)
32 BIT or 64 BIT ?
Doesn't matter, you just need the 32 bit libraries if you get 64 bit
On a side note: It doesn't matter what Distro of Linux you use, you'll just see that MOST of the people here adore Debian and Ubuntu (by far the most popular distro's out there) you can use anything from FreeBSD (while not technically Linux, it will run it), to Fedora, to SuSE, to RedHat, to CentOS, it does not matter at all, they all support running the exact same software as that is just how Linux distros work

Understand is that I have not had much luck with Ubuntu 64 BIT, unfortunately not with Debian, Ubuntu Server is not the best. Lack of knowledge even in Linux, one day get there.
if running 64 bit, all you have to do is get 32 bit libraries (apt-get install ia32-libs), and of course don't forget to copy those 5 or so other libraries that PWServer needs ;)
Any flavor of linux should do as Das said... You just need to make sure you have everything that the PWServer neeeds.
Just a sidenote, server runs fine on Mandriva 9 x64 also with 32 bit libs installed![]()
Still i prefer Debian or Ubuntu
I don't like and i don't know so much the other distro...
Oh and... I HATE FreeBSD >.<
i use ubuntu 10.04 64bit to, with no problem, who have tested centos os?someone say it's best of linux server.
