What exactly happens when you go into retreat? Do you get a message? Is the message "Server error, please log off and try again"?
In PWI, when you get the server error, you cannot drop anything, I haven't tried trading...
id request shutting up about this subject, robb from deva has created perfectly good scripts/methods to at least close in on the situation, doing areas such as:
- Removing Item Mall
- Disabling drops
- Rare items only being capable of stacking to 1
- Higher bandwidth servers
will prevent this, those who get past all tht then get on the retreat logs as to which u create auto-ban scripts. Job done.
im assuming your not getting the point of this thread... and two, anyone that asks about how to do a dupe or how it even works. i dont see why you cant just add a 2 - 3 second delay on all purchases or drops etc. 3 seconds is nothing, could probably get away with 1 second.
just enough so the system can keep up and cancel the dupes. and even then i wouldnt have a clue how or exactly would be needed to do that and how well that would work

also pwi has lost over 70% of their players, have you seen it within the past year, its reduced HELLA (but thats probably from the tideshit class and the earth sniffer class (both the biggest downfall in PW releases)

dupes been fixed in offical since 1.3.6, im not sure how it was done there though.
i still think it uses the game anti-cheat daemon.
But everything about its characteristics points to game server core (map GS)
