maybe they removed rubberbanding, that would explain why move packets don'T work anymore on angelemu

It's a good possibility they have... I haven't noticed any rubberbanding at all (minus that from the horrible 1k ping lag).

I certainly don't rubberband on the npc's head. :ott1:

I certainly can understand your all's anger. And for the past 1-2 months I have thought about opening my own server... well just thinking about it anyways. I've been reading up on it, and I would have to start from scratch, I dont even have a lenux computer lol and don't even know where to start. If anyone is willing to help that'd be great if you would pm me here on forums.

It may just be a cold day in hell (if the actually decided to do anything other than add broken content on top of already broken content)... !

If you really want a simple place to start check this out:

This is a very complete package, and is very easy to install. I made it so that it will all short of wipe your ass... For all the 'n00bs' I even made a video one can watch in post #2. The video itself is dated now, but still shows the gist of what needs to be done (the instructions in post #2 are 'up to date', so as long as they are followed - you could have a full server running from and empty HDD in 15 minutes)! Other than that - almost everything we already know, and most things we all learn here are none other than trial and error :wink:

i guess simple logic escapes your very small brain, if I had the 1.4.4 files I'd share them no problem, it would be nice to see other servers have the new races unfortunately I dont have the server files, therefor your insults go in 1 ear and out the other, because no matter how mad u guys get at me, it wont change a thing

Yeah hrace is a good person but he is angry like me and the other nice dev that deserve the 1.4.4 files but don't have it...

I 100% agree with hrace.

Tony/Daniel think they are really smart enough to keep you out of your own server is what makes me laugh the most...

Nearly every server host provides out of band access to the server, because of this you can easily get around their blocks but I highly doubt they'd trust anyone that even knows how to get around them with it. To them all they see is $$$$$ with donations...
