Elements.data problem?

    Elements.data problem?

    So, I got my server working after four days of tweaking. I got my char to 109 already and all but there's still one big problem. All weapons, armors and ornaments are missing their stats. When I buy/create one it has no add-ons. I have tried around 15 elements.datas, converted those from client-side files with sELedit and then moved to my server. Even if I use chmod 777 with those the map service still shuts itself down in 10 seconds.

    I have one working one that actually lets me log in and all but with the rest of the files map service goes off. When I open it from console (with ./gs command in the right directory) the last lines are "gs.conf and "gsalias.conf" and then three lines of blocks and then it stops. Not very helpful, eh? I added an attachment so you can see it better. And yes, the file is renamed as elements.data in the server.

    Anyway, when I convert the client side files to server side ones it removes the "Drop AddOn ID" parts along with "Probability" and some others like the socket things. Is it normal and is it somehow related to this? Check the attachments for more info.

    I tried searching but I found nothing useful. This was the only link with similar things I found: http://forum.ragezone.com/f452/perma...-fixes-667378/ But isn't this only for changing weapon/armor/ornament stats when they already work? And fixing tomes? Since my problem is that all equips are broken.

    Sorry if this is a noobish question but I have used more than 6 hours trying to get this sorted and I decided to finally ask. Thanks in advance.

    Whatever has ID 28650 is bugged in someway thats what makes GS crash

    To get items to have addons/mods you MUST craft it or have a mob drop it, as that is the only way for that to work

    1) get an chinese charset fprt your console there are abt 500k errors that could look like this and crash the gs...
    - If you did this past the console to a log and translate the error via babblefish w/e

    2) seems as u have no header configs for you "testing.data" therefore u just see '?'. that's all

    Thank you das, I'll make a crafting mule then and test if the items get the add-ons when crafted.

    Now I just have to search up the xml editor for pwAdmin and I'm set.

    2) Does it matter that the headers are missing? Like, does the server still load the data for sockets?
