Well this is what irritates me the most ... why don't they simply understand that if they'd share the server files that at least the tread of being shut down by the PW community disappears ... seriously the only reason I can think of why they won't share their server files is because they know there are server out there that are so much better then them. They are a low rate, Frech-only private server, from what I understand the sole purpose of their server is to provide a 'French-speaking' environment for French people. In this sense however, PWFrance really don't intend to compete with any of the other servers in my opinion - in fact they will IP ban non-French-speaking countries, if they get too many non-French people, and by doing so, they will willingly limit their own playerbase.
The way I see it, from their point of view, share or not to share is a rather interesting question. They might be targets for PWE, since only a single server has these files, however PWE might just not bother with a SINGLE, low popularity server (with a VERY limited playerbase, and btw, a server that I'm pretty sure most people haven't even heard anything about until now). But then again, if dozens and dozens of servers had these files, PWE might not even be able to do anything - for one some players will still not leave the official servers, for two, new servers will probably just keep popping up, so trying to shut down all the servers might not be a very cost-effective thing to do for PWE.
Plus, imagine you get something from someone, who specifically asks you not to share said thing with anyone...will you just go ahead and share it anyway? Does anyone even really know how they got these files?
Well I think there are 2 options:
1. It's a emulator.
2. They hacked the French PWI server.
We asked them for PUBLIC release, so PWI(we) wown't try to get them down.
The site is hosted in Russia the server IS Russian as well

Just construct pw login handshake, its really rather static, you just need to calculate HMAC MD5.
Then again, we are all stupid for wanting to bring them down, they will be taken down by PWE - why shoot a crashing plane :)
