Guide How to edit Gshop XD

okey i have 2 tools to edit Gshop one =item mall explorer.exe and one Gshop editor by Tekks.

i use item mall explorer to add items or change them
then i use tekks geditor and edit the price or the name and the save them
this way u can put them in server and have no problem
after i finished the server gshop i edit it with item mall explore for client side
exemple i have gm wep on list name commune i go to list comune and change just the id whit item mall explorer.exe id to somthing else...

i made this guide caz item mall explorer.exe ar buged exemle if u try to add things whit tekks geditor u end up whit the forever/permanent bug (1cubi coin)
if u use this 2 tools u whont have eny problems remmeber that the id it have to be in elements if not the GS will crash

I use the Tekk Gshop editor to do big modification on the gshop.data (add items, modify,....) and i resave gshop.data with a chinese gshop editor for fixing the "forever" bug

this is my way to edit gshop.data and ... every people have thier one way to modify the pw files

Item mall explorer is incredibly buggy, the import/export feature destroys the ability of other editors to open the file. It has severe issues with the creation of items, especially if the name field is longer then your new name when you copy it. It also has severe issues with the correct usage of the Chinese charset. Tekk's works well but lacks some key features that make some of the other editors a wonder to work with.

The BEST tool for the job is WMToolBox. (That is publicly available) It has AUTO Renumber, AUTO Naming, Auto ITEM Extended Description Importing. You can Restructure a GSHOP very quickly and it works well with the Charset. It also only needs to have 1 field edited to properly import your item. Unfortunately it is also only in Chinese. Here is the process I take when building a GSHOP... It is INCREDIBLY fast...

Copy your CLIENT el data, your gshop data into the folder with WMTOOLBOX. Copy the item_ext_desciption.txt from the configs.pck to the structure folder in the WMTOOLBOX folder.

1. Select Item, Change the EL ITEM number ONLY!!!! Adjust any prices for the item and list it will be on. Click Copy Selected...
2. Continue to do this until all my items are in the GSHOP...
3. Use the List 1 and List 2 to adjust the lists as needed.
4. Click Select ALL items on ALL lists.
5. Click Select All
6. Click Auto Renumber (gives each item a unique GSHOP item number)
7. Repeat Steps 4 and 5.
8. Click Auto RENAME! It will automatically import all the correct naming information from the EL data.
9. Repeat Steps 4 and 5.
10. Click Auto Import EXT item Description.
11. Click save
12. Load gshop to client and server and enjoy your gshop.
