the answer is YES, I am running it now with beastie 136 server file package with mysql on ubuntu 904. you will find the server file on the sticky section of this forum.I am just not sure how EFFECTIVE it is but so far it works for me. It even work in a virtualbox virtual machine with 3.5GB of RAM. I am running on the 32bit x86 version, i am sure it will work on x64 version as well you may need to install 32bit library in the case of x64 version.
