i hope u guys can help me, i using beastie's [Release] PW 136 Server files for use with MySql and install it in vmware and it worked perfect. Thankz alot beastie. But it lag when start with start_full.sh and start.sh. From now i using mini.sh (i made it myself to play). I use core 2 quad 2.40ghz and 3.25gb ddr2 ram and 1024gb ram for vmware 6
Can u guys help me? what should i do to play with start_full.sh?

As i understood, u must install a patch-just mount linux.iso that is in folder where u installed vmware.
I think it should help...
It's normal to lag, Vmware it's a resource killer. try to copy all the needed files from that image and make it linux native, you wont lag a bit.

Hehehe, You need 3 GB RAM to VMware, or more
patch 4 linux is here

mount it...
try to set ur vmware memory to 1024
and in ubuntu :
1: dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/6gb bs=1M count=6144
wait till its done
2; mkswap /mnt/6gb
3: swapon /mnt/6gb
To enable it at boot time, edit /etc/fstab to include:
/mnt/6gb (press TAB) swap (press TAB) swap (press TAB) defaults (press TAB) 0 (press TAB) 0
0=zero not "O"
to run full server it took 3.5 gb of my swap file in ubuntu
my pc spec:

4gb ddr2 8500

i used the same beastie server files you mentioned. vmware throws all kinds of network issues at me. it works fine initially, then the network just disappear moment/hour/day later without any change. this is a common issue with vmware if you Google it. i have better luck using virtualbox vm. another issue you give 1024gb ram to the vm: I bet you mean 1024mb since your sytem only have 3.25 gb of ram you can not give 1024gb to the vm. at 1024mb to the vm is not going to do it. on my setup loading a customize start.sh i have made to ONLY load the main world and serveral instances that are required for cultivation quests up to level109. which i deemed bare minimum for a server, it uses 2gb to 2.4 gb of ram already so the 1gb on your vm will not work. You might want to use other server file for example sofaq colinux version instead of beastie or jackup your ram and try again.

Well, you need >1024 Ram for emulation, but you can use the Java VirtualBox (free) http://www.sun.com/software/products/virtualbox/get.jsp
First, export your image from VMware to after import on VBox.
Use at least 600MB RAM for the virtual if you play alone on your PC, to a Host will need a linux dedicated and much memory.
