    [help] Skill settings

Does anyone know where the skill settings are stored? like weapon limitation, cultivation requirement, attack damage, etc. I've looked all through elements.data and can't find it, and I don't believe its in any of the other.data files. Thanks for any other help.

i think it's probably in this file : elementskill.dll in the element folder of your client...

If you find the way to edit this DLL tell me what xD ... but i think it's probably impossible to edit a DDL...

No, it'd need to be in either just a server side file, or client and server side file, and since there is no server side file for elementskill.dll, I think it'd just be a waste of time looking through that.

you don't have npcgen in the client side because the server spawns the mobs therefore a client version wouldn't be neccessary. The only reason a client side file is necessary is to display stuff. Notice that the client only contains .pck files and the server does not. The only reason this happens is because the client only uses the graphics, server doesn't need it, therefore there is no point. So if there isn't a server side file for the skills, then it'd be easily hacked, and I don't think the people that made this game are that stupid. If I had to guess, it'd probably be stored in the gs (not gs.conf) file along with the thousands of other things the server controls.

    Re: Skill settings

i have look this file... gs01.log...
And yes it's probably in the gs file... there is 2 ways :

    - Find a tool to edit the gs file... (i think there is no tools for this atm...)
    - Find a recently gs file to put in the gamed folder...

But how can find a new gs file ? ^^

I have another problem... i don't have the newly fashion (xuan t-shirt, rose rider, kitty,...)
and the new mounts (evil panda, the beautiful red drake,...)

It's probably around the gs file too and elements.data of course ^^
And i think the modded elements.data (1.3.1 -> 1.3.9) from tekk website doesn't have theses very new items...

We must find a way to have this ! ^^ The new subject is : How to edit the gs file in the gamed folder..?

Second subject is : find a way for the very new fashion and mounts..

good luck for everyone can find any idea to resolve this little but odd problem :\

    Re: Skill settings

New mounts and fashions you can just add them in elements.data. Its easy. You just need to make sure you have the right surfaces.pck, and models.pck.

I have the new sfx, gfx, models, surfaces, textures and elements.data 1.3.9 from the new my-en client...

But it's a problem with the server... my server doesn't have the 1.3.9 items (in the gs file i think...) Because when i want to put the new fashion and mounts in the gshop.data... it will crash the server... But i have a elements.data 1.3.6 modded with 1.3.9 items... :\ i don't know why my server crash when i want to add them in my gshop...

So i want a new gs file with the new fashions and mounts for my server....

    Re: Skill settings

well i've added items to my server before that don't even exist in any server and it seemed to work fine. You might have something configured wrong in elements.data.
