How to modifie the client for private Servers

Hey guys,

i followed the Tutorial Server + Client @ 1.4.2 & Guide to Set up a working Server. But now my problem is, how to downgrade the client that im able to connect to my own server.

I couldn't find a How To or something else and i have to say im new to Perfect World.

What i've already done:

Downloaded official client,
installed it,
updated it -> worked.
Try to patch it with the PWtools from Ronny, but then i get a nice error dialogue with cryptic signs.

Reinstalled, not updated it, patched with PWtools, same result.

So, if any1 could give me a nice noob instruction for that i would be thankful.

They stopped working in the downgrader, its last version is Tideborn...

So, download Tideborn client, downgrade it, and add the Genesis contents manually.

Or you could use 343's client released in his package and modify the data files to fit with your servers, that is what I would reccommend
