hrace009 vbox server make online

hi ppl,

i need help to set up the hrace009-server-image in web with no-ip,
i have read some post+guide here in forum but it will not work.

my network:

i have a lan network to modem and a PPPOE connection to web.

the lan = ip:192.168.0.2
sub:255.255.255.0
the vbox is configurate like original hrace009´s guide

"EDIT" i have win xp and no router

i have try many things to set it online but i have not many "know how" for networking so can pls any pro of you help me? :)

Doing it without a router is a long drawn out and annoying process, Zorno has something somewhere on how to do it, but to make your life a lot easier, a simple $20 router, if even that much, would make it a lot easier, and also provide the benefit of being a hardware firewall

I have my server working locally, but when I check to see if its public, I use my HTC phone as hot-spot to separate myself from my network as if I was on the outside on a seperate computer I have. So I start game and I look at server and it doesn't have a ping rate so not connected. I did all the port forwarding I needed to do and I have a static ip coming to my router so I dont need noip except to point to my internal ip that has all ports needed forwarded to
that. Let me know if there is something I missed (server says "map data out of phase with server's"). Also I can't see tideborne chars and map data is not there, did I miss something there too? Thank you for anyone that can help. Sorry for the crappy text format it got messed up.

Thank you. I didn't see the posts before. I'm glad because I thought I had messed up my program :) Well this will be good for now until I learn to make more files and add to this and make different maps in that area and chars. Thank you all on this forum for doing such a great job helping myself and others and just simply for contributing to the development of this game program.

Unless you live somewhere where the ISP gives out LAN IP addresses because your country wasn't smart enough to get their share of IPv4 then I doubt it.

Look in your router settings... find your manual if you don't know where that is
