Importing mobs, npcs, & flights from PWI

OK I am trying to add new mobs, npcs, & flights from PWI, however they have no movements or graphics. I have extracted all models & gfx for everything, sModfixed everything, packed pcks & added all to elements and still no movements or gfx. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

OK if you read my post then you would have known that I used sModfix to fix the ecms. and what does "this time manual" mean? By this time manual are you refering to simply opening each ecm and gfx file and changing for example line 1 of gfx "MOXTVersion: 58" to a lower number.

no ... not only use a fixed(workin one) one as base and an unfixed one(just to see what was made in it with smod fix) secondly open the ecm and look at the combineact's and other stuff seriosly it's time consuming and smodfix is fast but with some ecms(new ones) totally pointless so...cheers
b4 smod fix the fixing was made manually and i still kinda use that version since is more accurate so have fun

OK I have taken the original ecm and a modfixed ecm and compared them, the only differences I see is about a dozen lines removed and the MOXTVersion number changed. I have searched the forums for a little more insight on manually editing ecms, but haven't found anything. If I'm understanding correctly using Version Verify with sModfix only tells what version the file is and what version sModfix supports to fix?

Believe me I don't want it done for me, however a little guidance on what I need to be looking for would be great. As far as the combineacts I have compared it to others that are working and some have the same acts.

I'm not entirely sure what could be wrong. I did it the same as you except all the models from models.pck on the PWI client I put into gfx.pck on mine and just changed the paths in elements.data.

I've only been working with the mobs so far and apart from a few changes in elements, they work fine. The elements.data from pwi I converted to our client version, the deleted everything I didn't want and import the rest using sELedit, then it was a case of changing the paths in elements.

Did you maybe paste the new files in the wrong place, for example:

    models.pck > models > models

Any model files would need to be in:

    models.pck > models

I'm just stabbing in the dark so I'm probably no help but anything is possible.

Re: Importing mobs, npcs, & flights from PWI

As my models is getting to the upper limit anything I add at this point is going elsewhere, however the issue is them actually moving and having effects, they show up fine though. And as far as file structure, yes I typically double and triple check those for elements.data, ecms, and for the files themselves. I could deal without effects to a point but if they don't move it just doesn't look right, especially on flights & mounts.
