Make copy of whole PWServer folder and change all ports to prevents interfering with the other one.

Long work but not hard. Just be sure the ports are not same on the 2nd server.

Or change the bind addresses like all the local connections put on 127.0.0.2 or something and the glink ones obviously need to be changed to different addresses OR you can use the same ones just on different ports

Oh right... same Glinkd can be used for both servers

It needs to create a new loopback interface then...

the loopback is easy.. but just make a copy of pwserver and change all the ports? is that all in one vbox? or seperate?... i thought about making another db renaming it and having it point towards that

You could do that... one server can run multiple copies of it, hell you can even have multiple copies of pwAdmin controlling all of them as long as you edit the jsp properly

lolz i have a really good pc.. i can load all maps with vbox and it wont lag the server.. plus i am going to be using it as a server itself soon.. once i get my new pc.. and install linux on it and have it as a host instead of vbox.. just want a test server atm.. where i can test new mounts, flights, fashion, bosses, mobs out where it wont cause the main server to be in downtime.

Personally I would recommend just keeping your 'beta' server a virtual machine on whatever is your 'daily user' or 'personal computer'

this way you don't have to bother with setting two servers up on one machine, and you don't have un-necessary down time as you mentioned ;)
