Item wiping

Hey,

I want to know how to wipe items, for example:

Say there is a item that um isn't working correctly, so people exploit the glitch within a 24-48 hour time period till GM's find out. Once they find out, we have no clue who could have gotten it or not. (I know there are logs, but i don't know where item logs and what player "xxx" did. It would be a help if you told me though and how to make sense of them.) So, I can't just go to the known offenders and check only them. So then while I am looking, those people will be duping it and stashing it at other places. So basically:

How do i do a item wipe?

All I could think of is doing 2 patches.
Patch 1: Remove that item after saving every single little box information.
Patch 2: Restore it back.

Hmmm good idea! Thanks man. Also - its rumored there is a helmet that Has hp +30k and is a bug, anyone know of it?

well thats easy to find, look for a stat with +30,000 HP.
