    Log - In Animation?

    Heya guys! I was wondering how i can change the Log - In Animation, i just want do do it by client - side because old PW starting screen is rly boring

    I mean... Theres a screen where u put ur ID and pass, and in the background u can see waterfall, rocks, houses n shit, and on PWI for example u can see weird tiny little guys running around the campfire. Can some1 tell me where i can exactly look for that "animation" ? I would like to change it with the old one at the pserver im currently playing at

    Thx in advance xD

    you can have at least the new background (we use tideborn one) if you update your login map and scenectrl.ini, of course you need all textures and models it uses.

    Re: Log - In Animation?

    You can't... why would you even want to modify those? What you need to edit is scenectrl.ini in configs. You just need to replace those files you mentioned with the ones from the instance you want to use for your login screen.

    Re: Log - In Animation?

    Yeah you don't need to modify them, just swap the maps round so the one you want in the login screen is in the maps\login folder

    Re: Log - In Animation?

    Well here's the simplified version of my previous post, lol.

    Let's say for example you want to change your login screen background to the yin yang symbol from a13. You take the files that end with .t2bk, .t2lm, .2tlm1, .t2mk and _light.dat from your a13 folder and put them in your login folder, without changing the 'a13' to 'login'. Then you unpack litmodels and replace the litmodels from the 'login' folder there with the ones from your 'a13' folder and repack it again. Then you open your configs.pck and find the file called scenectrl.ini, and change that to whatever position you want your background in! (For example:
    [Camera]
    PosX0 = 25.828000
    PosY0 =347.675000
    PosZ0 = 187.847000
    DirX0 = 0.000000
    DirY0 = 0.000000
    DirZ0 = 1.000000
    UpX0 = 0.000000
    UpY0 = 100.000000
    UpZ0 = 0.000000)
    (Test it but don't use this one cause my server is using this xD)
    But I hope you understand how this works, otherwise just let me know and I'll try to explain if it doesn't work man.

    And sorry for my vague response, I do not know exactly how to do it right down to the finest point, I don't really remember more than the general way of doing things when I do them.

    But if you want a exact guide listen to Exodus, or try the search button, this question has been discussed many times before...

    I'm not sure if you know how to do this but try going to google and putting in this:

    Re: Log - In Animation?

    hmm, i will say step by step what iv done and maybe u see the problem :
    1)went to element/maps/a13 ~i cut the files that u were saying and paste them in Login folde r
    2)went to litmodels.pck -i used a bat file to open it, i went to a13 i cut the content from there and paste it to login folder after pack it again and puted in pw/element
    3)unpacked the configs.pck ,went in the scenectrl.ini file and replaced the numbers from there with the ones u puted on thread, the first pair of numbers , i mean till UpZ0 = 0.000000.
    packed again with the change and puted from where i was geting it
    All this modifications was in Client side !
    I restarted the server and launch the game from patcher , and the result was the same , that background i posted before ...
    Where i did wrong?

    Re: Log - In Animation?

    1. Make a backup of your "maps\login" and litmodels.pck
    2. Delete the "maps\login" folder and copy the "maps\a13" folder and call it "login"
    3. Rename every where you see "a13" to "login" in the files names of the new login folder
    4. Open the litmodels.pck, delete the login folder and copy the a13 folder then call it "login"
    5. Repack your litmodels.pck
    6. Change your scenectrl.ini like Exodus said.
