im wondering if somethin here controls pet size. Problem is i have no idea what ids are what and if they are actually for the pets.
fwpck doesnt seem to extract the entire configs.pck so even if that ini would effect the size, there is no way for me to repack it.

I only modified the first ecm, but if you wanted to use 1 of the others simply modify them to what the first one is.

Is there a way to scale the model and the skeleton/bones or whatever its called to match each another? Or is that not possible?

The raceequip.ini does infact hold the pet scaling....the problem is figuring out what id is for what pet.I randomly changed a few scales and noticed that a few of the pets ingame were alot smaller than normal.

Thankfully the configs pck takes 3 sec to repack.Just gotta try all 53 id#
until i get the right one lol.

And wrong again.Guess its a lost cause.What works in pwi doesnt seem to work for forsaken world.

ah damn nvm, thought you still have problems unpacking..

for repacking i have to change the code though, to use fw keys for length code encryption.
Tell me when you really need this and provide a configs.pck if pwrepack doesn't work, so i can fix it without downloading the full game again.

Ive been using Fwpck. The problem with the extract is the configspck goes from 3mb down to 600kb. When i repack, its size remains 600kb.Im not sure if that matters since all 62 files apear to work correctly and ive had no problems ingame so far.

i was wrong about the size of the configs.pck. The real size is 25mb but when i extract it, its only 635 kb.Fwpck cant be extracting all of its contents.

The patch system they use is lazy. All it does is add new files and update the records while old data is there. That is why if you recreate the pcks every now and then their size shrinks.

i got to resurrect this one



So everyone talks about scaling mobs and npcs but no1 complains about models going through the ground
is it only me? When i scale up any mob or npc it's scaled from the middle of the body(not the bottom of the ground(root)) and that causes legs to get into the ground also names with hitbox are not lifted up.
Is there anything we can change to bring mobs up like change hitbox position or something?


ohh btw if there is no NewScale: 0 inside ecm then i don't add it because it breaks animations and fx of npc/mob, i'm not 100% sure what NewScale is for

i changed scale of holeen (16349) snice it already have different scales in few ecm files 雪王.ecm
for this mob everything looked fine

i edited few more and those with bonescale already in them scale fine, everything else goes under ground

does it mean that only few mobs/npcs can be correctly scaled that are prepared for it?

If you want to scale any mob, you got to check for the

MOXTVERSION of it, not all mobs come with a updated egnough MOXTVERSION to be able active

the re-size command, so you got to

Change the MOXTVersion, and then you r able to add the bone command to it

but then, you got to check the update mox and ur old file, and add a few command lines that change btw those Mox,

then there u go.

So changing motx didn't help to solve my issue. Mobs are still half way in the ground. It seems as they scale from hip joint and not from root joint. BoneIndex is already 0 so I assume hip joint is the first bone. Adding extra bone at the beginning of the skeleton in bon file might solve this problem, but I don't have such skills^^.
