How to fix error 15151, any hotfix available?
Is this the SQL section or what ?
Why you want to use MSSQL ? Use MySQL. MSSQL sucks.
I dont get for what you need SQL on windows in Perfect world section, these files are for linux![]()
<vomit>mssql, windows, colinux</vomit>
That's my answer to this thread![]()
Back to topic:
I still dont know what you are trying there.
1. For an online Server you need at least a very good vServer at a hoster somewhere and they will have normal Linux, not CoLinux or whatever so they dont have MSSQL ( dunno but i dont think there is a MSSQL for Linux)
2. If you want to play alone or host at Home CoLinux and MSSQL desnt have the requirements to host the full server i think ( dunno, never used that crap )
3. Dunno just wanted to write 3.![]()
Virtualbox and VMWare are both also server stable, meaning you can (albeit not best choice to use...) use them to run Virtual Servers for you on a relatively strong host machine
Virtualbox running in headless mode with the pretty web interface for it is very nice for that
CoLinux on the other hand is very very very not server stable, and any server with Microsoft in its name you might as well just unplug the server and call it 'working' as that is just about all you'll get out of it
Just switch to MySQL, it;s so much easier to use, and it's cross platform. I run my server off of Ubuntu 9.10 on VMware via my Mac, and I just use pwAdmin instead of iWeb. So make the right choice, go with MySQL!
