MySQL > Tables > point.sql corrupt

Wow that was really weird. for a day or two i had nothing wrong with my server then all of a sudden tons of dc's and connection error's

saying my point in tables was corrupt and needed repair

not sure how it happened but it crashed and i had to repair it.

lucky enough i had a recent backup so took the peices i needed to fix it.

anyone else ever stumble upon this issue. or even know why it happened.

Point responds when an account is logged in, it updates the db when an account logs and if the account hasn't logged in it doesnt respond with the db so just empty the table and give that a go obviously back it up incase of any issues and obviously shut the server down before you do this.

Never had this problem, but just for the record you can simply delete the "point" table and recreate it empty. Authd insert the entry needed when a user logs in.

i think my way was easier haha just executed the recent point.sql i had lol

Its more easy to do "REPARIR TABLE point" and is fixed :)

Try to buy a SSD hdd and you wont have this problem ever again.
