    New PWI Patch

The patch PWI put out last night seemed to contain a fair amount of stuff, I havn't had a look at it yet, only a quick skim read but it would seem they have added on the the world map, added/modified instance maps and also added in the aero on ecatomb "mount32" or something like that.

But the problem is that my sELedit will not open the elements.data that they released with this patch.... Is anyone else having the same issue? It is a cfg file mismatch.

Just had a quick look on Ecatomb, which class is it for? I can't seem to find the Mount32 :/ There's a Mount23, elven wings, which I snuck in from the latest offical models/gfx files, tried the ecm/gfx fix but they got no animations at the moment.

I have the same issue as Nameles, I was able to open PWI elements until last night, and that is with newest sELedit to my knowledge.

    duuuds.
Have you ever tried to look in config file of elements.data structure?
If you haven't, now it's time to do it!
Making your own config file for new elements.data files is so easy. PWI just adds couple new int's new some lists.

Here is config for old Tekk's editor. If you want you can make config for sElEdit from that.

Just look throw lists and looking for corrupted lists. And then usually adding 1 int, reopen elements.data, and looks again. After founding needed size of 1 element I'm looks throw some elements and if it need, I'm changing values (from float/int to int/float).

Alright, Thanks, it worked. But there's only 20 lists in the elements that I want now.

I don't know how to study the elements structure.

    == Edit ==

    More details:

    Start offset = 6537636
    Start From : 6537636 to 6537656,
    Bytes skipped(20) : DD8976AB07000000FD33DB8EE239C7EAA42F4E13
list21 might be corrupted so this & next list will be ignored. Reason : length >
    10000 or < 0 items. Length : -1862270976
Tried to convert : 91000000 to integer.

You dont need el to read whats been added, just simply test and try the content out, then fix it?

    Re: New PWI Patch

I've been told that I need to know wich lists of the elements I need to remove to convert it to CN 1.3.6.

And hell, there are some lists in PWI that doesn't exist, or have a different ID in the elements.data that I want.

I'm saying again, I don't have idea in how to study the elements structure.

I would like an explanation, and/or that someone help me opening this elements: elements.rar

    Thx 2 all
