    ! No Go Zones

This is really weird, and frustrating.
There are two areas on the world where you cannot go, or the client will crash. Then you have to edit your character's position in order to play again.
One of the problem locations is near City of the Plume, over the river near the docks. This one isn't too bad because it’s really small.
The Other Problem is the City of the Oppressed. This area is huge and it’s very easy to trigger a crash.
I am using 343's server and client files, and I don't know if this is a corrupt file on my part, or if it’s a problem for anyone with his files.
I request that someone else using 343's files fly over the river west of the city of plume, and attempt to go into the city of the oppressed, just to see if my files are somehow bugged.
If this is a problem with my files, which files do I need to replace, or how could I fix this problem?

I am using 343's package and have not experienced any problem areas like this. I just did a test run through both areas with gfx maxed with no glitches or crashes. As far as what files would be an issue I can't answer that.

Most likely corrupt download on your part.

My guessing is you are perhaps missing something in the gfx.pck as from my testing with the Genesis areas, not having all the gfx will crash the areas lacking the gfx.

I don't have 343's release so you could either try downloading the client again or get someone to upload 343's gfx.pck and see if that works...

Copy + paste and replace whole GFX folder from PWI and then use Ronny's sMODfix, it should do the whole job.

This was actually an old known problem, it has since been fixed. I suggest re downloading my entire package. I have been updating that package once every month (on or about the 4th)... So, I also suggest to hold off until my next 'update', because this next one is gonna be HUGE... Also, do not ask 'what' will be different, as I don't keep 'logs' or 'lists' of everything that I do in my updates. I just work work work on stuff, and then update it -- so all updates are 'worthy' because ya never know what will have been fixed ;)

You could do a "If you downloaded the last release and still have the ISO's use this download" and give a delta/bindiff patch which will only contain the data of what changed since last release.

Awesome! I hope you do get it done on the 4th cause my internet month ends on the 5th and I can download basically as much as I want cause my counter doesn't seem to register it on the last day :DDDDD

But I'm looking forward to it :P

No can do -- I have already talked about not releasing ANY kind of 'patches' as #1 it just confuses too many effing people #2 I don't maintain a list of work that I have done (so if I've been working on a ton of shit for say a month or two {like now}, by the time I re-release / 'update', I have NO clue WTF I have all changed)

So, again and in short - NO

Thats why I said bindiff/delta changes (of the ISO's themselves, not individual files), you don't have to track what you change and can apply over previous download if you happen to already have it since so many people seem to be whining about the size.

    Binary diff for bindiff
Xdelta | Download Xdelta software for free at SourceForge.net for delta (though deltas can be larger)
