NPC editor for version 1.4.2

i updated my server to 1.4.2 and i cant find a program to edit npcgen.data i was using NPCGEN 1.4 and it worked great with version 1.3.6 but i get the error >100.. and i downloaded the npcgen 1.5 from ragezone and it just gives me a program isnt responding as soon as i click it.. and i have tried using snpcedit.. but dont understand all the buttons.. is there a guide for it or a better program to help edit version 1.4.2?

As i know, if u use ronny PWD patch and downgrade your clients to 1.3.6 you still can use most of 1.4.2 items. That what i been using now actually, and snpcedit is easy to use when u try to use it couple of times. Most of the strings have descriptions, so you can edit it to ur personal like.

I think you should try ronny 's sNpcEdit. It 's good for me.

Thanks ronny that worked my other version of npcgen 1.5 didnt work but urs did.. and if i downgraded my files then i wouldnt see any of my mounts/flight/fashion and takes way too much time to create into element.data when it was in my version 1.4.2. which works great and all the other editors 2

NPCGen Editor 1.5 is only able to read 1.3.6 elements.data from client and server.

It can't read 1.3.1 or too heavly customized elements.data files.

well i got npcgen 1.5 to edit but when it tries to save it pops up an error.. and when i used seledit 1.2b i can edit em fine but when i upload to the server the maps go offline or it says server is under maintence when i try to log in

Ok let me to clear something:

sELedit = editing elements.data files
sNPCedit = editing npcgen.data files
NPCGen 1.5 = editing npcgen.data files

i knows what edits what.. i get a error just saving the npcgen with npcgen 1.5 i mean i can load it dont even edit anything and press save and it pops up a error with one chiense symbol on it. and the elements.data i can change it and save it but when i upload it it closes my maps.. any tips are more than welcome

Chinese symbols with a "OK" button? That's mean the file has been saved... btw
