Opening the TW maps

Is there any way as a GM to enter the TW battlegrounds?

I tried getting into the TW by simply changing UNIX time, so that I could bid, have bids finish, then enter the TW, but that never works, the battle always cancels.

I also tried to simply change co-ords on pwAdmin to enter the instance, but I get the 'Could not login to server' error.

I guess the TW system is more complicated...any way to get in?

Other than waiting out half a week of course.

Never had this problem of battle canceling... Even on my test server where I changed the time to test the TW without waiting the half-week.

So I would ask, what server files do you use? What are you exactly trying to test? Maybe I could help you with more infos on what you are trying test with the TW...

Well, I was simply trying to test my gear and stats and such against TWs, trying to balance things.

I'm actually using your server files on colinux right now

Maybe I'm simply doing things wrong when changing the date.

I use the date -s command, and set the time to date -s "Thur Sep 11 18:57:00"

I then login, bid and wait those 3 mins until the bidding is over. For some reason it says that the Bidding End time is 23:20, no idea why...it finishes, at 19:00, as it should.

However the time of the TW is always 0:00 on the Sunday.
And, then, whatever I set the server to on Sunday, the battle is already cancelled and money returned to me via mailbox, however when I do 'Enter Instance' the attack is still there, 0:00 on Sunday.

Actually, thinking about it, I may have just solved my own problem. Of course, Midnight on Sunday..I need to set server time to Saturday maybe.

It's probably a bit confusing, but hopefully you'll understand, maybe i did something wrong, but I'll quickly go and test it again.


EDIT: Okay, I think what would be easiest is if you could simply tell me your method for getting into TWs.
