At the moment online with only those processes are consuming 6.2Gb of 8 Gb
The Machine: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.5GHZ 1333FSB (6MB CACHE)
Now I have one question, go to an upgrade to improve, two options:
Improve the current machine with 16GB of memory
or
Switching to an Intel Core i5 750 Quad Core 2.66GHz FSB 2.5GT / s with 8GB of ram?
More players you have, more CPU % will be used...
Depend how many world/fb you want to open also...

Theres something going on there, Ive noticed since ive put PWAdmin into my server and got everything wotking with it, it will create extra processes and string them out for some time, my system load will be around 30.0 sometimes and I look at the processors and theres the problem alot of Java processes running.
I am open with only four maps, and consumption of 7GB. Why is that?

8GB isnt enough to run PW smooth u will use around 70-90% I have 24gb duo quadcore atm and with almost 1000 users connected it uses around 80% RAM

Já tive esse problema com meu servidor uma vez e lembro que só resolvi quando mudei de datacenter. As máquinas do fdp que alugava não eram dedicadas, eram VPS e o fdp (Total Premium)me vendeu como dedicado. Verifica o hardware.

Contactei até engenheiro em análise de sistemas que me disse que o problema era no uso de processador. Achei estranho porque já havia rodado servidor até em máquina com configuração menor que aquela e deixei o tempo da máquina expirar. Para minha surpresa, o dono da empresa me procurou desesperadamente para efetuar meu pagamento. Depois de horas de discussão ele deixou escapar que tinham outros 3 clientes dependendo do meu pagamento para continuarem usando o serviço. oO' Tempos depois descobri que seus dedicados eram compartilhados. Já rodei em Suse com 4gb, em Ubuntu com 8gb e em Debian com 8gb, sempre com sistema 32bits. Pede pra formatarem seu pc.
