X_X Look at the numerous tutorials on it. If you don't search, you don't deserve to have a server.

supra has a very good tut on it - I recommend that one.

Search. The ****ing. Forums. Search button is at the top. Use it. Here's a little extra help in case you're too lazy to even do that much:

    Re: Port range

you only need port 29000 open for your friends to play the game, 80 for the website registration page.

just go to the port forward page add 29000 in the value and the final ip of the server
so if its 192.168.2.3 add that to the ip section then check the mark do the same for port 80 "apache(web)" port for the registration page, then check that mark, apply settings. go to the first page of the router page and look for the broadcast ip (your public ip) like say it was 205.294.255.138 this would be your public ip "broadcast" your gate way is 205.294.255.1 or so on, to connect to your server from outside the network you now have to type your broadcast ip "205.294.255.138" and connect, now your connected and enjoy your server.

some useful information if you havnt found out already is
    ifconfig - shows network information
ufw - uncomplicated firewall "easy to use fire wall"
free - shows memory information such as ram, swap and so on
these are pretty useful commands that can help you in the future of servers.
    have fun.

Not trying to be mean, but if you can't understand how to read tutorials, or the manual for your router for that much please log off the forums. There is way too much information on these forums & the internet on how to configure a router for you to continually repeat that you don't understand and someone please help. If something this simple has you that confused you shouldn't even think about running a server.

    Re: Port range

If it's just for you and your friends, use Hamachi. It's easier than playing around with your router settings. Not being mean, but I wouldn't suggest you open a public server until you know more of networking and such, because if you run into an issue, we can't always help you. There are plenty of resources on RaGEZONE. So look around, read tutorials. You'll figure it out.

This is incorrect i have had hraces releases before and i can get them live no problem. if your refering to the vbox releases

As for your router issue. really quite simple, first of all your ports are correct not sure about the protocol i used tcp/udp (both) as its my only option

if you are still having problems your probably running vbox or vmware version. (as your computer shows to be windows 7)

then go here to view my tutorial
    http://forum.ragezone.com/f695/live-...t-play-737579/

    your port ranges would be

    8080 - 8081 80 - 81 29000 - 29001 these should work
