Problem with GShop.edit

Hi all,

Like said in post tittle, i have a problem when i want to edit my GShop.data with the GShop editor...
In fact, i can add items, modify them, delete etc... Even install it in the server/client it's ok. It's at the loggin char i have that :



Why this bug ? How can i change my GShop.data without have it after ???
Btw, i can't log this char after, even if i put my base GShop...

Finally, i changed my gshop edit prog, and that's work now =D.

Gshop.data with an items doesn't figure in the Elements.data make crash the gs ! (gameserver).

That crashed the gs with the GM equipments... Strange no ? lol
Now i have G.19 weapons, Armor, jewels and GM EQ lol *happy*

I don't think it will be very interresting btw lol...
Don't forget to put it in your server (with permission to see it) AND in your client files.

For add/remove objects inside you can use the gShopEdit2, release here :

You must be running a different version of the server than me. I am using Beastie's Vmware image PW 136. When I copy the files over it still gives me an error. If I restore my back ups I can get in without a problem. We may have differnt element.data files that is causing this error like Romulan said in an earlier post.

I tried to use the editor that you posted but it just pops up with an error. Something I should update to get this to work? Also I am assuming the password is m m o r p g - d e v (without the spaces) as I have read in other posts right?

In fact you must put this gshop editor in the directory :

c:/Perfect World/Element/Data

with a gshop.data.



Then run it.



You may have something like this :



Now, you just have to change items inside :

another thing, in case not noticed is; the GSHOP has a limit of 8 tabs and 8 "sub" tabs under each tab. There is also a limitation of a total combined items, and that limit is 2,500 items, in all, in your GSHOP.

you don't need to put the gshop2.exe to the "element/data" coz this is risky.

you can use ur own folder, and copy the gshop.data with ur gshop2.exe

This section didn't have a dedicated moderator for some time. Hence there are hundreds of posts that need sorting, closing, fixing and things. I plan on sorting all this eventually but I was going get to other things like subsections sorted first so I can sort them as I move then. All it takes is a little common sense to look at the dates before you post.
