Last time i got a virus warning was because of an ad on ragezone because i was not logged in... :D
Maybe they use the same stupid ad service.
One word : Linux.
no operating system is perfect, its just a question of what an attacker wants to get.
example: Root privileges through Linux kernel bug - Update - The H Open Source: News and Features
That's true, but most of the malware in the wild is targeted towards the largest logical "audience", which is windows :D
I haven't had a virus on my comp in years now and I use windows. Easy enough to avoid getting one though, just stay away from sites with ads all over them or sites with free urls, never open emails in your junk folder. Oh and get your porn from torrent sites where people have commented on them saying their safe![]()
Virus free for 5 years now![]()
I prefer to stay with Windows and use AdBlock Plus and AdBlock Plus Pop-Up Addon with Google Chrome and Firefox, install all updates avaliable via Windows Update, and have a good anti-virus and anti-malware.
