pwAdmin 1.8

I searched in forum for a way to get the lastest pwAdmin installed on hrace009 ubuntu server but didnt find anything (yet)...
tryed to replace the pwAdmin 1.8 folder on the old pwAdmin and no errors but still not fully "installed"
next try was with the start script: i put the jetty folder in PWServer and then with the terminal launched the start.jar file (java -jar start.jar) didnt work gave me errors...
so here is the question can someone please tell me how i can add the pwAdmin 1.8??
P.S. with last try i screwed the pwAdmin everything else works tought...
