Its something like a video file (for the background) cuz it used my codec everytime I opened the game :mellow:
It was a *.mcx or thingy like that in the login folder (I deleted the game cuz needs space and probably Pwi will get it soon... so...) :wink:
i tried to make the login screen working but no chance >.< maybe i did something wrong but if i copy there scenectr....xD and the login folder + maps folder + litmodels + loddata i get really wierd things xDQuote:

Managed to make an account, but the launch button is greyed out, did an update and all, so can't play atm. Am wondering if the Uk is a blocked country? :p Anyone else have this problem?
My brother had this problem. It was fixed by reinstalling again, and then not updating the launcher. Which means, the first thing is pops up, click the bottom button to say no to updating the launcher. Then you should be able to update the game itself from there.Quote:

did you get the following screen when you registered ?
Try using google translate (Thats what I did) Paste the URL in the text box of google translate, then click on the url in translated text box. It will then open a translated version of the website you entered.
yea, granted I cannot say my account registered 100% properly myself (still waiting on client to update / can't log in yet) It would appear to me that it has because the "恭喜您，注册成功!" seen in the above image translates to "Congratulations, you successfully registered!"
Yeah I did get that image after registering :) I can log into the site fine, just not into the game :/
The connection is always bad. Anyways, click on the middle bottom button once at that screen in your screenshot. Then in the pop up window click the bottom of the two buttons. lol oh no :/ Are you still having problems logging in? I do apologize for not mentioning this sooner, it worked for me by logging into the site, and I had a message (long wall of text which I translated in google) to confirm again my id. Then I could log into the game.
well I wouldn't even know yet. I have been having problems installing the client :(( It seems I am having a problem with file integrity (bad UL, bad DL ???)

Yeah I know, the connection/updating is temperamental to say the least :( Took me several tries before I had any luck!
i actually went to the lengths of manually installing the .cup files into each .pck with sPCK to play, after the .cup wouldnt run properly for some reason.
took a while...
I just realized something else.
I have PWi installed, since I do play 'official', and I think while updating CN it was actually writing over my PWi installation location. Because I have been too busy to play PWi lately, decided to log in for a moment and couldn't. I was having major PWi client issues. So I decided to attempt to launch it from the patcher (yea I bypass the launcher normally, I hate it I already know they update on a regular schedule!) and it said 'unknown client version'. That's when it clicked in my head that CN must have been attempting to patch my PWi location :\
So I re-installed my PWi, now IDK if I am going to try again for CN (if I do it will surely be a Virtual Machine), or if I am just going to wait for "Genesis"....... uhg ; what to do, what to do :confused:

Lol but genesis expansion is coming out in february on pwi so you can't get those special clothes working atm, you need to wait. You can't import them from w2i CN2012 client. :mellow:Quote:
