FIRST OFF, Before someone gives a link to "lmgtfy", I will say I have searched. Everyone beats around the bush. I want a straightforward answer.
I have a couple questions. I want to copy the world map, and make a portal to it on the regular map. This map would be a exact copy, except there is only 1 safe zone. How would i do that? How would I make a secondary map like that?

It isn't really possible because only the World map is able to work properly at it's size...
You'd have to do client modifications to map sizing for it to work properly and that is finicky business...
And also, More meaningful titles, use them, so other people that search can find appropriate threads and stop the constant reasking of questions
