Question about Linux OS you use

i have upgraded my Linux OS to ubuntu 10.10 and reinstalled PW on it..

has anyone had any problems with getting there server working on it? i am getting my authd errors again.

and i know the cause of the problem and how i used to fix it...
but this time, none of those fixes are working...

so just wanted to know if anyone else uses ubuntu 10.10 Desktop version,

and if there running fine if so ill just work a bit more on fixing this error.

and if anyone wouldn't mind could you send me there java folders with

    jdk1.5.0_05
    jdk1.6.0_12
    msSQLjdbc

mine seem to be bad. and im hoping with a new set my errors will go away

Re: Question about Linux OS you use

    1. Most of my servers run Ubuntu simply because I love it (including my PW one which is also 10.10)
    2. There isn't anything majorly different between the generic and server kernels for Ubuntu, the server one just allocates higher priorities to network related tasks mostly
    3. Google can get you those... hell you could probably pull them out of the repositories... (and I believe Ronny's pwAdmin download includes the Java needed for it, if not you can still get it inside his guide's package)

It was a sticky... how could you miss it?

I swear 'sticky' must be another meaning for 'invisible thread'

    >.> because it was a full release, wasn't sure you meant that. thought there was some smaller package with separate files.
