Script (CHANGE PASSWORD AND REGISTRATION HELP NEEDED)

Hi guys, I searched the whole forum on the subject, I saw several saying that this topic already exists, use "Find", but so far only seen that I have not found anything that I need, so please before you speak and read me to look for I tried a lot!
I needed a panel Registration and Password change or just a php script password change!

I think you did not understand, I really need a panel for changing the password, I try all the errors, I found this link in posts but gave this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '$' in / var / www / chgpass / chpass.php on line 8

It would be the best "Change Password", but unfortunately I always have errors, and this time was:
Status: Wrong username or password!
And I put the connector with all the passwords neat!
