I've done a search, and have checked my elements.data for the right ski path/name, and also texture name/path, but the model is still completely black :/ Does anyone know why this happens? Thanks for any help! :)

The texture path inside the ski is probably wrong as the model itself doesn't have any color data afaik

Thanks for the responses guys :D Yeah I did a tint fix when I didn't need too lol, I was kinda hoping it was that and not the wrong texture path inside the ski file, but thankfully all is ok now :) Hrace, great job on the armour, looks great!![]()
Dont mean to bump an old post, buuut if the ski files are showing up all white in game is it a result in the same error as the tint issue? just want to double check on this ^^;
What item is it? And are you rexturing? I was working on fash, and used Ronny's tint fix when I didn't need too. I also learnt that changing the alpha colour, graduating from black to white, changes the strength of the dye :p Still experimenting with that so not too experienced in the alpha department yet!
I replaced that texture with a backup of the original one which fixed my problem, try that first :) Failing that, I'd check the ski/texture path in your elements.data too. Or like Das said, could be wrong texture path inside the ski file itself, now how to edit that I don't know :p Hope you get the problem fixed!
Well... micropanther is somewhat right about the texture path being wrong, ATI cards tend to just make the object black (sometimes very rarely white) and Nvidia almost always make them white
But you could have something similar to what micropanther had earlier and it is just a tint fix
