try to your server, its not effect, and will closed port 29100 and 29300 for public ( localhost only )

then i use iptables to block all port and open port 29000 only and make some rules iptables, then i can see ip who try to flood my server
I don't use iptables at all (well not directly on the machine that is doing all the work) I always have one other machine physically between the one doing all the work and the internet, I like how routers work (even when I have dedicated servers Id always get a vps or something to go along with it to act as a proxy between it and the open internet, and of course on the same hosts data center to utilize the lan ips for fast data transfers to minimize lag) I just feel that to be safer and gives me peace of mind...i use 127.0.0.1 for all config file, except glinkd/gamesys.conf

using proxy server is a good idea to fake our server from pwi officalbut i still want to know. who sucking person always flood my server

It can still keep logs etc, I just like having a physical machine in between the internet and the one doing all the work, makes it that much harder to actually "hack" into itusing proxy server is a good idea to fake our server from pwi offical
