    Timer problem serverside

Again another strange problem on mah Server.

Some days ago we had to change the clock to winter time. I changed the time on the Server and restarted everything. Server PC shows the correct time but it looks like the PW Server still uses the old time. When we do Territory wars, it shows 21:00 for the first battlefield entry time but shouts the message at 20:00 ( like it should ) and we can enter @ 20:00 ...
Also the quest for the Horserace @ snake isle is available at correct time but when i try to click on "Go!" it shows a message that its not the correct time for the race.
What can i do to have the correct time for that stuff ?
    What i already tried:

    * Changed the clock manually with the date command
    * used timeservices to set the clock
    * restarted the PW Server hundret times
    * restarted the whole Server PC several times

What does d_getservertime say? How does it compare to date? I know I've changed the time on my server a few times before and it acted weird for a little while and then eventually accepted it

There might be a config file somewhere for it but I honestly dont know

If it still acts weird, change the date to one day in the future, restart the server in its entirety (OS and all)
Start the PW server again, check if it has the correct wrong time now, it probably does (I did play with the times a bit when I wanted to play with tw a while ago and this did work)

Then change the date back to the proper time and do a full reboot again and it should show the correct times now

If that doesn't work just tell your players server is in a different time zone now...

    Walking/Traveling servers ?
Can it be that the serverfiles itself use UTC and date just shows me the correct time because it knows that i am in UTC +1 but uses UTC time itself for the running processes ? I checked MySQL datetime entry which is also wrong thats why i think the server is using UTC time and just displays me the diffrence.

Check the actual hardware clock of the machine if you can, I know a lot of Linux distributions like to lie about what time the hardware 'thinks' it is

That is one thing I never really liked about Linux

    date ----rft-2822 ( i think it was 2822 ) shows me this:

    Sun 20.11.2010 07:00.00 +0100

So there is the +1 hour i think. looks like linux thinks it has to manually add an hour. Dunno how to change this :/
