My files are working and many people are using them! Ask to them before posting a shity message that spam my thread!
I will report you to a moderator, if you continue this attitude...
All of them works. It took me 4 months until I got them to finally work. Just be patient and you will eventually get it. Also, Romulan, how do we set up iWeb?
iweb is working in this release o.o no? Try to type in console:
/usr/local/jakarta-tomcat-5.5.9/bin/startup.sh
or (if the first case doesn't work)
/usr/local/apache-tomcat-5.5.28/bin/startup.sh
And tell me what it will happen.^^ (with screen if possible...)

:(: :(: master romulan or any one plz help me ...
iweb works correctly, I just can't log into it. I don't know if it's because I'm missing something or something, but I try Game logins, phpmyadmin logins, nothing works.
wow cool you try to use desktop version...
for my experiance i never use desktop version for server.
and looks like you didn't install your mysql, if already, maybe desktop version and server version have diferent path, i don't know where mysql path in desktop version.
It works the exact same, but how do I install mysql folder. I'm using the Xampp one, is that correct?
---------- Post added at 11:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:46 PM ----------
Yeah, it works the exact same, I'm playing right now, but how would I install mysql if it doesn't have to do with Xampp?
I thought all versions of xampp/lampp came with MySQL :\
http://www.apachefriends.org/en/index.html
They do, but theres no Mysql folder for iWeb that goes with /usr/lib/
Hi everybody! I have deleted the link of my release. Maybe i'll do a new one later if i have a few time to do it...
Thx for understanding !
Well thanks anyways, your guide and files really helped. Only one I really understood. Post again soon.
I have major problem and can not figure it out. I get the error error with GAuth. I have read through everything I can find about it, but apparently I am missing the point. Iam running on a Ubuntu Server, 2 gig ram, 120 gig drive, 2.3ghz computer. Ubuntu loaded fine. Copied all files over and ran the chmod as instructed. Changed the IWeb.conf, etc to match my internal ip address. There was something about changing the Java versions to match and that is where I am totally lost. Change what files where? I may be missing something else, not sure.
Also, am I suppose to change every ip address in all conf files everywhere to match the internal ip address? Or are they suppose to be set to 127.0.0.1
Please forgive me. I am a total newbie. I know it cant be this tough. I just dont get it.
Thanks.
:(::*::?::/:
The file you are trying to access is no longer available publicly.
can you upload again please?
yah - I tired to redownload it and it told me that it is no longer available.
I been running into alot of problems with Gauthd and can not seem to find the correct answer here that will resolve the problem. I have been trying for three days to get it working with no luck. I am either missing something or a real dummy because I cant find a direct answer or solution to my problem.
It would be nice if someone would instructions on how to resolve this problem cause apparently there is others with the same problem. Maybe someone will write up the fix and share it with us. If someone is kind enough to know the solution and share it with me my email is redravensc@gmail.com.
I think I am going to give up for now.
Sorry!! But i'm very busy in real life so i can't continue my release for the moment!
Thanks for understanding!
YAY! I think i an getting close to getting it to run! I gave it one more try and wiped everything and started over. I printed this whole thread and followed everything I could find.
I changed all the IP addresses from 127.0.0.1 to my internal address (192.168.X.X). That seemed to fix my problem with GAuth error. (Was driving me nuts).
Now I have another question before I continue.
I am getting this:
gdelivery::connect gfactionserver sussfully
gdelivery::gfactionclient:disconnect from server. reconnecting....
then it loops through with a start and end statement.
Is this normal and can anyone tell me what it looks like when it is running properly?
I couldnt give up that easy. I wasnt going to let it get me.
Thanks everyone.
Link says file is no longer available...has been set to private.
can someone reupload this, I would like to see if his read me files will be of more help than the other tutorials i se on here.
i use ubuntu 9.10 but there is nothing i found that is very helpful on installing a server on my os.
aye I will wait for further realease but for now , if anyone else who has these files still can upload them or just all his read me files :-)
i am needing the mysql query for dbo databse please, if anyone has it. or can just write the code out for me and ill copy and paste into a new text file.
edit nevermind got one,
umm why is this server so hard to find help for and so damn difficult to run, I tried atleast 4 different server repacks and was only successful at getting two of them working after troubleshooting many many hours over it.
i use beasites and there is no guide to it so I take my knowledge from peicing together what i learned from other server installs but alas i am stuck at ./start.sh :permission denied.
i come here because the title says this "tutorial" I don't know about anyone else but if the "tutorial" is packed in side the non existent files then its not much use.
what i server is under mantenance?
...necro...
Epic necro batman!

hahaha. see the problem with forums these days?
if someone new come and make a thread asking for something, people come in and say SEARCH!
if they search and find old thread and ask questions on it, people come in and say NECRO!
so great isn't it? hahaha
People tell others to search as quite often people come here without first searching with a stupidly simple problem. People get tired of answering the same thing time and time again which is why they are told to search first.
People say necro when someone bumps an old thread with no relevance anymore. If you have a question about an ancient thread you are supposed to make a new thread. It is a necro is this case as the posters question clearly isn't even to do with this release since the links have been broken for ages. The answer already exists here on the forums as well.
RaGEZONE - MMORPG server development forums - Forum Rules
Rule #17 covers the first paragraph.
Rule #5 covers the second paragraph.
The people who say to search and say necro really are just following the rules.
