not convert ! your vBox HardDisks folder contain a " .vmdk " use this for VMware [ vmdk ] [ ... from VMware Worstation ]
#1
File -> new -> create virtual Machine [ Custom ]
/ next /
#2
Compatibilty [ what do you need ]
/ next /
#3
Guest Operation System Installation -> ... later / next / Opereating System -> Linux - Ubuntu
/ next /
#4
Name [ what do you need [ this name are the FolderName of your Virtual Machine / Project ] ]
/ next /
#5
Processor [ what do you need ]
/ next /
#6
Memory [ what do you need ]
/ next /
#7
Network [ what do you need [ i used bridget ] ]
#7.1
use Bridged -> try Edit -> Virtual Network Editor -> VMnet0 -> VMnet Information -> ...
/ next /
#8
I/O Controler -> use default
/ next /
#9
Disk -> Use an exiting Disk [ create in the Virtual Machine path a folder named FROM STEP NAME -> put in this folder the vBox vmdk ]
/ next /
#10
Select ... -> browse to you vmdk [ in created folder from step #9 ]
/ next /
