How can i do my server available from the Internet??

Hello guys .My problem is there cuz i wana make private internet server to play with couple of friends.But today when i look some post and threads about that how can i make private server when i am using a Vbox on Win7 with Wi-Fi router connect i doesnt find any info particularly for the Router connect so now a need little help :)

Wired vs wireless really don't have any differences in fundamentals... networking is networking is networking at the bottom of it... If anything you will need to consult manuals/google/help for specifics to VBOX or VMware if you're using said software... (Like for VMware I could tell you that you need to set the VMware 'network adapter' settings to Bridged, and [X] replicate a physical connection)... But still the rest of the settings within the OS within the VM (guest machine/OS) will still need to be properly 'set' (networked) as if it was a separate physical machine of its own...
