Own Map !
Hello RageZone !
I want to create my own map and I started with :
-I looked for a map that do not use !
-I looked for information about how its made.
-I know, I need to use sMaptool.
-I understand how to use sMaptool.
-I know how to change texture and other stuff.
But how can i edit maps from client?
Give me a few step...or a short tutorial !
(I looked for information before I make this post, but I not found what I wanted !)
I wish you the best of luck since this has not been done yet (if you mean truly making your own map from scratch). Though if you do figure it out I would love to know how it's done. Being a former level designer for various FPS games I would love to be able to make maps from scratch for PW

I don't wanna make my own map from scratch, I wanna even edit an existing map...
What editor can i use for client maps...after edit can i use sMAPtool for convert on the server.

This is truly something PW need.
There's just something amazing about being able to create your own world (map). Whether it's for a FPS game (like I used to do), or a world just to walk around in, or a world or map for a MMO (like PW)... Unless you've ever done it yourself you'll never know how awesome it feels to create your own 'world' (or 'map')... So for those of you who haven't, I suggest you give it a try. Even if you don't do anything fancy, start with an old game like the original DOOM (god only knows how easy mapping is for that ROFL)... Work your way up to something a little nicer like Counter Strike... But in the end, again, I cannot wait until we can create maps from scratch for PW (hopefully some day we will be able to)
As to actually cease ranting and go back

@ PwDeveloper I don't currently know of any ways to edit existing maps either. My guess would be, if one could figure out how to edit existing maps, then that will also teach us how we can create brand new ones from nothing
Right now all I know, that we know how to do, is clone maps (without any modification), edit height maps, edit move maps, and edit monster/mob paths within a map. No where near the necessary knowledge to create a map from scratch, or even to edit an already existing map.

It would be nice to PW have custom maps.

Can anyone help me with some informations?
How can i change map texture? ( in .tbx or st like this i found texture files, but how can i change this text?) I tryed with hex editor but without success. Give me a little tutorial if u have idea how can i do it.
And how can I reduce map height in sMapTools i already tryed but without success.
