Well i went over this famous youtube tutorial to setup my PS and thought i had no problems when everything was going the way he was doing it, then when i entered the game i had this UI error, fixed that... now when i login with the account i did on navicat i get "can not connect to the server". Help required. Please, and thank you

Yeah I also followed his method in setting up my Local PS.
Have you already tried to get in the game before or is this error have just occurred when you changed something, because there are many reasons that may cause that problem.
But here are some solutions to that:
• Make sure the IP address in each (not each one of it, just the needed to edit ones) ini files on your server files is changed to your Virtual Machine OS (Which is Linux/Ubuntu) IP. -Note: Review the tutorial you've watched if necessary.
• Change the IP in your "game_server/server_user.ini" before you compile it to game_server.evp (You know what I mean on the IP right?)
• VMWare's Local Network Adapters are altered go to VMWare and "Edit>Virtual Network Editor" click on one network and on the bottom-left of the panel click 'Restore Default'
• Maybe there are some other solutions that I didn't know yet. I'll post them here if ever I find some. -Note: If this does not help, Try asking other people on the forums

So i did restore defaults on VMware but now i can't connect my virtual machine to my wired network... what could it be?

Do you know how to edit item's stats like for ex change int given by ring of fox and other items like that.I think it's not from "item.csv" and i have no idea from where.I searched alot and i didnt find some thread close to this,please answer if you know.

how to edit item's stats

Yes, it's not in item.csv but in attrib.csv.
To edit item stats you need to open both files. (item.csv and attrib.csv)
• Creating a new stat (Do this in attrib.csv):

1. Copy a row of any existing stat, and change the ID.
2. Decide what it's gonna be. Just play around with the stats, but there are things you need to know before you go with your style.

• FactorParty - I really don't know what this does, but it may affect some things. Leave it 5 or nothing.
• FactorType - It ranges from 1 to 10.

SpecificallyWait, Anyone objects?, :huh

1=Weapon
2=Support Weapon
3,4,5,6,7,8=Armor
9=Ring/Amulet
10=I don't know, haven't checked it yet.

• FactorColor - Better leave this blank or nothing. 0 on Armor, because in some cases leaving it blank can cause error. Based on my experience.​

3. Your done?, Yeaay!

• Applying it on item (Do this in item.csv):

1. Locate row of item you wish to edit.​

2. On Column 14 or N. Change to stat ID.
3. Yeay! Once More!

change characters name

To change character's name,
1. Open your SQL with any software that can edit it.
2. Go to db_game tables and on t_user find your character and simply edit it.

Sorry I can't help you when it's about ubuntu or stuffs like that (OS,Terminal Commands).

Maybe its just that, Those errors won't cause any trouble in game. So, don't worry

Why do you need the old ones when we can have the latest usable client "v1652" that has the shout system.
You can disable those caves just by deleting the entrance NPC.-Note: If this does not help, Try asking other people on the forums

Maybe your server or client used the wrong local. ("Just maybe")
Configure your local_and_language.ini
