Its nice to see new people trying out new things.
Just a few notes, first off don't be afraid to use more horizontal and vertical space. Having something too crowded and crunched up makes it hard on the eyes. If there is a little white space here and there its no problem. Second, try not to use too much drop shadow I usually try to stay away from it because it just makes things look really weird in my opinion especially when the drop shadow doesn't always go the same direction. Finally, try to look at ways others fix their content on a page, this is the most important thing to note. If your design is nice but your content is confusing or out of place it can really make the website hard to navigate or unappealing.
Good Luck, keep practicing ( I know I do all the time haha ) and you will be coming up with some great designs soon.

Drop shadow gave me quite high effect on drop shadow when designing but when I save and look again, it's totally OUT! :(
Anyway, thanks for the advice! I will improve it on next design! ;)
