Just for the music listeners that don't always have a network connection available, there now is an application called Imusic BG that caches your youtube librairy to ur phone.
Downside is that it does consume quiet alot of memory space on ur iphone/android device but for the rest you don't need an network connection once the songs are cached on your device.
But the advantages are pretty big though:
