Manga can't have fillers... it is in a flashback though (ie. change of pace) but it's still good.
Anime filler makes no sense but ah well they were only about 10 eps behind the manga so it was to be expected.

I see a fricking big filler arc comming up, probably as big as the bounto one.

Personally finding it very interesting seeing that the vizards were ex-shinigami's, there is a squad 0 and seeing Mayuri (in only 3 chapters)

Going by the episode names there is a minimum 10 eps filler.

Betting that the explanation will be something like Aizen used his shikai on the audience =P

    What episode names..
The new intro shows all kinds of stuff that hasn't happened in the manga.
I think it will be a big filler arc unless you can prove otherwise =P

Personally I'd say it'll be less than the Bounto, probably ~30 episodes with it missing random weeks like One Piece does.

I have to admit though, I always liked Bleach over Naruto. But lately the storyline of bleach isn't as compelling anymore, while that of naruto has become unbelievably complex.

A shame really that they don't put more effort in the storyline.

yes. Bleach was awesome, because i watched Bleach first, i think. But Bleach is moving on too slow. Naruto for the win!

I started with Naruto and changed to Bleach, back when it was more of an attention catcher. Now it's almost the other way around.

I had an idea that I just wanted to throw out here for a discussion.

Judging on Ichigo's fight with Aizen in ep61 and his fight in Vizard form with Grommjow, if Ichigo were to fight Aizen, who would win?

Aizen... Aizen > Espada > Ichigo.

Ichigo is nowhere near Aizen yet, if he's lucky he'd be on par with Ulquiorra at best.

I still think Wonderweiss > Espada, he was the only one to be transformed with the fully restored Hōgyoku.
