We are finally returning to Heuco Mondo.

But theres no other squad that mentions the captain leaving.

He has captain level but isn't a captain ~_~ (same thing as ikkaku)

but I guess thats the only simple reason of why he would have left, but being in the 11th squad all they care about is Strength.

He wasn't in 11th squad, if he was in any squad then it was squad 0.
He wasn't a captain during the "-100" chapters.
He wasn't the captain Zaraki killed either.

Meaning he was never a captain.
(Re-read the manga before making theories)

He lost his powers 20 years ago but we don't even know if he was a shinigami...
He could be like Ichigo and just have powers while still being alive...

We don't know about what happened in 100 years before the main storyline, so.

100 years ago was the "Turn back the pendulum (-107)" chapters about the vizards.
20 years ago was when Isshin lost his shinigami powers.

The fact no-one knows his name/ that he was a captain the the past 100++ years makes me think otherwise ~_~

Only thing I see is that he was in squad 0 or that he had something to do with the king (above ss) or something random like that.

Just because they know doesn't mean they knew each other 100 years ago.
