I think he's doing it only for now, otherwise there would have been no need of starting the emu.

    xD

Hey btw in this guide (http://cellframework.sourceforge.net...0Emulation.pdf) it says that java is a good platform for server emulation and that the main problem is that it has bad networking built in. (which is why a library or other tool should be used) This seems to go against everything you were saying, got any replies

It didnt say good. It compared it as a direct alternative to C/C++ and C#.

As william said he is using java because he know it the best not because it's better than C++. Comparing java's speed to C++'s is like comparing a calculator to a nasa server.

    Hehe ^

Btw speed is not everything. Pure ASM and other low level languages can be faster than C++, the problem is making a program that can take advantage of that speed - not an easy thing to do.

Oh And sorry about not being around and stuff, but i've been horribly busy, i'll keep working on the cms though, it's going to be slow unless someone would be able to carry on with my work.

    Hello

    1. You must use the actual csro client.

    2. When no serverlist is shown you dont setup database connection right. Please check your login informations in constans.java file.

    I hope i helped you.
