    since everyone is discuss about the best SQL Server version I'll start an poll. Which SQL Server version is the most stable version for running the vSRO serverfiles?

    Voted SQL Server 2008 R2 because of security and performace ...

    But it is required powerfull resources ...

    The newer the sql version it's != the better it's. Silkroad server files were made originally for sql 2000 but you MAY use sql 2005

    but for the best performance use sql 2000

    Depends on the functionality you want to add in addition to the default database imo - you may lack of specific functions in MSSQL 2000, but therefor it has a better performance than 2008 R2.
    Anyways, I personally prefer to use 2008 R2 and even on such a newer version of mssql silkroad runs smoothly if you setup it well :)

    i can use any version since i can turn between them using scripts but while generating scripts is not supported on lower versions so i prefer higher versions like for example 2008 R2
