I can't connect to the server I got it running but I can't login I get: You have been disconnected. Please log back onto the server.
then I click OK and I get: Server is being maintained. then it closes.
How to fix? Please

if any of you have problems with the connection this weekend I will leave you a guide and other things about this version for you to have

The server runs fine I can see that it is available in the client. that error just happens when I try to login .

I'am only familiar with the following error linked to glinkd:

<!> Wrong Version(base version), server:2457 client:1303

1)From SMElementClient/EC_Game_version Client.h


2)Server Version is from /server-fw/glinkd/gamesys.conf

This error is fixed just by making sure both client & server have same version.

It's possible that you do have issues with zone id though?
Your error is likely due to a mistake in configuration files though.
I'm just guessing at this point.I don't really know.

i agree with whats been said over and over about homecoming, its broken is so many places, for a stable and reliable server thats not goin to be exploited to death, stick with blood harvest

I am getting this same exact error. Has anyone been able to fix it?

I set this up in the same way that I set up Milos's Blood Harvest version (that one works just fine), however, when I start the server with /server/start.sh, it loads up alright until it tries to load Realm1 and hangs on the following:


If I start the client, I get the same error messages as jacent above:



I'd appreciate it if anyone knows a fix for this, or can tell me where I went wrong. Thanks so much in advance!

Edit: I know it may not be as reliable as Blood Harvest, but I just want to play it by myself and not host a server. This game has too many fond memories and I'd like to play the version that's closest to its last release. :)
