Anyone run the cmd.bat in the root folder?
I did and it cloned my hard drive 4 times.
SUBST G: C:\TantraServer\web
SUBST Q: C:\TantraServer\web
SUBST R: C:\TantraServer\web
SUBST S: C:\TantraServer\web
I have 2 hard drives and 1 of them is showing as 5 different drive letters.
C:-G:-Q:-R:-S:
Anyway how do we get the runall vb script to run?
And does anyone know why my servers say different world ID's?
I am using this format for my serverlist.txt
0 0 xxx.xx.xx.xxx 1000
But the DB,Chat,Msg server say world ID 1
And all of the zone servers say world ID 0
Now wtf they all use the same serverlist.text because i made one and pasted it into every folder that needed one.
Is that normal?

ok here we go no need to run the vb or use the command scripts not needed
in your server folders make your local ip your own ip address i.e .
main db ip your ip 1000
zone1 ip your ip 3001
zone2 ip your ip 3002
and so forth.
serverlist is the same except it list all servers ^^ look at back post to see pics .
look at each zone data folder and look in ini dat change the world id to 0 and save the file also make sure you change the zone id to its corisponding number i.e 1 , 2 , 3 etc also save file then run zone server.

what application do i run in LAN setup? only the CHATSRV, DBSRV, and MSGSRV?

small update if you look in the data folders in your zone folders you will see many txt files, the files that have load in the prefix are in fact instructions and data for the zone server we are lucky in that these are in plain txt ^^. but to alter these or write new ones we are going to have to know exactly which mob or item or skill id and number is .
onlooking through my duplicate zones it is obvious now that we need to do more than just duplicate as the info the txt files contains for the new zone id you give it is totaly wrong ^^ hence my having floating monks and ruhdhira at temple of fire.
? strange one here we have the correct data for zone 21 which is muhda dungeon but im getting a lot of game log out and error message saying invalid and illegal entry ???.
need help guys if any of you have managed it yet how to change the txt from corrupt tiawan ?, chinese ?, or tiawan to plain english ??

if you have been following all the steps and advice ??
then run like this main db , message, zone 1 , gm-tool.
then run client htlauncher using console command.
it will bypass update and you can enter the login use test name and test pass.
click on the testserver1 and enter make your char and your in.

ok if the sql data base has inittialised ok, when you run gm-tool it will make its own db and run.
you will then have a image onscreen with several functions in it, you can open the test account from here and add things, or you can now enter the game through log on and make a char that way ^^.

well,
after a long chat with alan110 i got my server to run, and login and run around and see items and change the pranas rate.
i used the server files originally posted, i will repost them how i edited them.
i used the imperio client, i will upload the rared client WITHOUT the infected files.

what you need for tantra server
1) MSSQL - pro preferred with separate user account created just for tantra
2) server files with the replaced ip to your ips
3) client that lets you use -v3goodluck on shortcut to htlauncher.exe, copy serverlist.bin, serverlist.txt to your client directory.
4) use the test account to login

Hi there sir omen, im still 15 years old so i dont know anything about making my own server, i just know how to follow simple instruction like changing the ip to my ips
can make a list of downloads that i need to download to run the game, how to make an account and simple instruction to edit some files that are needed to be edited thanks and more power, and please be patient....

@ zidichy we can move to all maps except zone 8 it wont run this is pamir maps.
many maps have errors as they have the wrong data i.e the mobs dont belong there i.e exile at tof bongo and flowers should be here on my map i have zarku rhudhira and floating monks ???. this is the same for many areas.
no mobs at all in et ?. at the moment mandara, dun1 ,dun2, shambala, dun1,dun2, jina no mobs at all, exile wrong mobs , et no mobs , garden no mobs , cbw only archers, ballrooms no mobs, biryu no mobs at all and muhda dungeon works well but errors in boss roms.chattu wrong mobs and kruma is full of errors.
many maps need editing and the mobs in most areas need editing, not sure yet how to do this also tpa files are corrupt, ive tried but at the moment i cant recify coruption, xml tools dont work properly.
items tool in gmtools is corrupt, bad text, xml2txl tools dont work properly.
gm tool for creating items is missing, many of the level 80,82, and 90,92 items and the sun items dont show in inventys although they are there but invisible ?.
same goes for forbbiden items and 80 level sets and weps.
pamir zone 8 wont load it needs missing magic lamp data for it to run.
hard to interpret the tpa files as the most importent details are in chinese phonetic glyphs and i cant convert them all other languages are not complete in all the listings of items , id, portal, maps etc . : ( the chinese listings have every item and so forth in the game .
so at the moment i can enter 20 zones but with many problems. had some fun running around testing areas but will now try to concentrate on trying to make data files and edit out load txt for zones.
