i currently use 2008 r2 sql server advanced. i have no idea why you guys are pushing to use 2012 right now. lol. at least with 2008 the tutorials will make sense.

i don't push the MSSQL 2012 but i strongly suggest it. highly recommend it. its up to them which sql they want. and regarding tutorials, it is scattered all over the net. they can use the search engine.pher14344's fixed database can be imported using 2008 or higher. if installation would be a problem, then read the post of infinium for MSSQL-DNS. with regards to installation of mssql as demo or trial... i was just wondering how did you install that? it is free and full version.

@GMDeveloper1 - this has been answered before but, I will answer it once again for you. What you need to do is to change the Pustika and QZP in your TantraParam.xml to 0 for all the settings. This will disable it once you convert it. But, make sure you save this as another copy and keep the original. Simply add the converted .tpa file to the Zone in which you want to disable it in. Good luck.

in addition to jbeitz107's post, edit the value to 0(zero) anything that you want disabled in tantraparam.xml and put it into the zone where you wanted to apply it. thanks for re-posting it sir.

i don't have much knowledge regarding DDoS on zones, but i will suggest a cisco router to prevent denial of service attacks. and regarding hamachi servers, i don't use that one and i don't recommend it either because i can't resolve the netblock myself.

Regarding Players closing zones, you need to use the old MSGSRV.EXE (mine is from K3) and for editing HTSSettings.EXE the best way is to do it is to hex it. however, be sure to save it back with the same byte size or it will crash.

by the way there is a new XAMPP download. here http://www.apachefriends.org/download.html it is 1.8.3 and those who have problem in enabling mssql just edit php.ini

Hi Guys, can you make a tutorial on how to edit HTLauncher.exe using PSpad? after editing The IP Address of HTlauncher.exe, the file is corrupted. Help please

I don't recommend PSPad I only use it to create/Edit PHP document. CFF Explorer is better. When you hex HTLauncher, maintain the size. Or it will not work. You have to NOP the remaining bytes.

To those who are editing monsters, creating items, designing your own resources... please update your clientres to match the updates in the resources. it should be the same. editing map is the same as creating monsters and items. Use tantra tool posted by manna. It should be working with 3DS Max as an add on.

there are new things discovered... i encourage everyone in this community to continue exploring. map can be designed and can be added. you can add new item name in tantraparam and clientres and new item id as well.

for a start, i won't share just yet. as to let others do en exploration and not just leeching. the basic has been given in full.

i am currently exploring k3 files and adding new map without breaking the game. qzp isn't working well but, i have found a way to make it work. from k6 dragon cave is the last map and incomplete as it may seem. but explore and be creative, its not that hard.

thanks manna for sharing tatratool by fatduck. new map, new monster, new item, new level.

From the looks of it, you are doing just fine. I suggest you copy HTLauncher as backup before doing anything in it.

To HEX HTLauncher.exe, you just need to look for two addresses that points the same as your HTMessage.txl row 301 e.g.http://97.16.221.41/home/login/gamel...s&user_pass=%s

there were two lines in the hex. it will be seen in CFF Explorer. replace them both.

Select it, Copy Ascii then paste in your notepad and replace the necessary IP and path the same as yout Hompage login/register and you're done.

If in case the Ascii have remaining spaces, fill it with 00.
